Just a week after the last update, here’s an essential feature to flash BMW and Mini.
We’re solving one of the most critical and debated issues of the last few months: CVN and Counter traceability.
CVN, which stands for Calibration Verification Number, is the calibration checksum of the file contained in the ECU. The CVN check is a way to verify if the ECU calibration is compliant with the ECU factory settings. Thanks to KESSv2 new protocols 628 and 629, even writing a Modified File, the CVN will perfectly match the Original File.
The Counter indicates the number of times the ECUs Bosch EDC17 and MED17 have been tuned. Here too, thanks to the protocols 628 and 629, the Counter is not increased.
CVN and Counter will be displayed in the protocol ID in the software version field.
Thanks to the K-Suite 3.0 update you will be able to work on bench and in OBD on the latest generation Porsche, equipped with the following ECUs: Continental SDI 21.1, SDI 21.2 e SDI 21.3.
Through K-TAG Protocol 1036 you’ll have the opportunity to work directly on the ECUs of Porsche 911 and Porsche 718 which mount the new engines MDA, MDB, MDC and MDD. After the 2016 restyling, in fact Porsche 911 abandoned naturally aspirated engines and, for the first time, all the models were equipped with 3.0L or 3.8L flat-six turbocharged engines. The 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman new generation engines are equipped with 2.0L and 2.5L flat-4 turbocharged engines which replace the flat-6 naturally aspirated engine; thus providing increased performances and lower fuel consumption.
Following, some technical details regarding reading and writing modes of the new protocol:
K-TAG Protocol 1036 is a Bootloader with direct connection to the external connector of the ECU. So, you just have to connect the cable 14P600KT02 to your K-TAG and to the external connector of the ECU (for CAN line and power supplies), and connect with CFN and Boot Pins. Connecting the Boot and CNF Pins you can use the positioning frame and the provided programming probes. As an alternative, you can solder the wires that connect CFN and Boot to the cable 14P600KT02.
Just a few weeks after the last update, we’re introducing you a very important new one: as of today, only with Alientech K-TAG, you can work on the latest Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio.
Alientech, actually, is the first to give you the chance to safely and professionally read and write at bench the ECU Marelli M10JA, equipped on the 2.0 Turbo Euro 6 engine, found on the latest Alfa.
And there’s much more: 14 new protocols for Car, Bike, Truck and Tractor, new additions to the Vehicle List which is reaching tens of thousands of vehicles available to you.
